Creature Creations
[Creature Creations 2004 Gallery. Check it out!]
"Creature Creation" is a performance-oriented class in which the masks, costumes, and puppet-sculptures which students create will be transformed into characters and brought to life to form collaborative theatre pieces and environments.

Original and extraordinary "Creatures" are developed by way of a creative process that investigates 3-D building techniques with foam, fabric and a variety of other ingredients in combination with experimental theatre games designed to improve movement, improvisational and storytelling skills.
The class culminates with a made-for-video show, or a staged performance, parade, or "creature street-theatre" event.
"Creature Creation" is currently offered to students enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design Film and Video Department during their Wintersession semester.
The Workshops also travel to other schools, colleges and community centers and are appropriate for all age groups of every shape & size.
